Sales, sales, sales. Here’s how to get to the best bargains! (Chapter two)
Eccoci, care amiche, a occuparci ancora dell’argomento saldi. E questa volta parliamo di Basic, che possiamo acquistare di buona qualità, viste le occasioni. In particolare, vi racconto (e suggerisco) quelli che per me sono da sempre i BEST TOP.

In pole position, c’è sicuramente lui, il blazer, un capo che non può mancare, soprattutto da questa stagione, che è ritornato prepotentemente alla ribalta. Lo acquisterei tailoring, in un tessuto un po’ speciale… bellissimo questo di Dior, indossato con una camicia bianca di cotone; completerei poi l’outfit con un jeans.

So, ladies, here we are to deal with sales again. And this time we’re going to talk about basics that we can buy of good quality considering the occasion. In particular, I will tell (and advice) you about those that for me have always been the BEST MUST-HAVES.

In pole position, there is definitely the blazer, a cant-miss item, especially this season. I would get it tailored, with a nice fabric … this Dior one is beautiful, worn with a white cotton shirt; I will then finish the look with a pair of jeans.

Però se non desideriamo investire tanto, ne ho visti di altrettanto belli e a prezzi molto più contenuti, ad esempio da Excelsior a Milano, non ho potuto fare a meno di notare il blazer del brand londinese Joseph, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Pantalone nero alla caviglia. Probabilmente tutte noi ne abbiamo uno, ma se desideriamo rinnovare anche quello, andrei da Jil Sander: i suoi pantaloni sono perfetti e durano una vita.

Di T-Shirt bianche, altro must irrinunciabile, ce ne sono tantissime e per tutti i portafogli. Di ottimo cotone sono quelle americane della Three Dots (che troviamo ad esempio da Imarika) ma altrettanto belle e di ottimo cotone sono quelle di GAP.

But if we’re not to spend a lot, I have seen equally beautiful ones at much smaller prices, like at Excelsior in Milan, I couldn’t help but notice the London Joseph blazer, with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Black ankle pants. All of us probably already have one, but if we wish to update that too, I’ll go for Jil Sander: his trousers are perfect and last a lifetime.

Another must-have, are white T-shirts which come in so many types and for all budgets. Those of the american brand, Three Dots (At Imarika) are made with excellent cotton, equally beautiful and as much excellent cotton are the ones from GAP.

Jeans Skinny, anche qui possiamo spaziare. A me piacciono quelli di MOTHER, perché stretch e molto morbidi, aderiscono perfettamente e sono comodissimi. Anche questi li trovate da Imarika oppure sul portale net-a-porter.com

Trench… che dire, è veramente un MUST! Lo acquisterei di marca nei classici Beige o Ghiaccio. Intramontabili sono i BURBERRY e i ST. LAURENT PARIS, che se siete fortunate trovate anche con sconti.

Trench… What can I say, it really is a MUST! I would get it designer and in beige or ice color. Timeless trenches are the ones from BURBERRY and ST. LAURENT PARIS, which, if you’re lucky, you can even find with discounts.

E poi ci sono gli ACCESSORI INTRAMONTABILI.

And then we there are TIMELESS ACCESSORIES.

Le classiche Pumps di Jimmy Choo, ad esempio, sono indispensabili nel nostro guardaroba; io le prenderei nere, perfette per qualsiasi occasione, dal jeans al tubino.

E infine, il costume. Anche se ci piace prendere il sole con pezzi ridottissimi, un bel costume intero dovrebbe non mancare. Lo preferisco classico, nero, molto diva. Perfetto per spostamenti in barca, al bar della spiaggia o anche solo per una nuotata la sera, nella piscina dell’albergo.

And finally, swimwear. Although we like to sunbathe in small bikinis, we still should always have a nice one-piece. I like it classic, black, very diva. Perfect for a boat trip, for the seaside bar or even for a night swim in the hotel’s pool.
