The chic touch of coats

Non c’è tempo da perdere!!! Siamo quasi arrivate al momento fatidico della scelta del capospalla: cosa desideriamo indossare per tenerci al caldo e sentirci belle?

Direi che, con l’avvento di una moda più femminile e di gusto couture, dobbiamo sicuramente orientarci verso il cappotto. Anche se da qualche tempo è stato soppiantato dai piumini, trovo sia necessario averne nel nostro armadio almeno uno, perché sicuramente più habillé. Quest’anno ci possiamo sbizzarrire, ce ne sono per tutti i gusti e forme…

I’d say, with the coming of more femminine and couture trends, we should really go for coats. Even though it’s been replaced lately by winter jackets, I find it necessary to have at least one in our closets, because it’s definitely more habillé. This year we can go wild for there are a lot to choose from for every taste and figure.

Vi propongo i miei outfit preferiti, perché è sicuramente importante la scelta del capo giusto, ma poi è il completamento dell’outfit, compresi gli accessori, che fa la differenza!
Molto francese, questo look con trench in scamosciato abbinato al foulard portato alla Grace Kelly, con tanto di (appunto ) Kelly in struzzo… bellissimo!

Ecco ora un esempio preso direttamente dallo street style più interessante, per un tipo di donna sportiva ma sempre attenta agli ultimi trends: consiglio lo spolverino a disegno check, portato in stile easy con salopette.

Sono tornate le forme ampie, con una costruzione della spalla non esagerata (in modo da avere una silhouette proporzionata), adatte così anche a donne non altissime. Guardate questo cappotto di Stella McCartney bianco, dalla linea perfetta, e tra l’altro in uno dei miei colori preferiti. Il bianco d’inverno è molto chic!

Wide-shaped styles are back, with an understated shoulder structure (to give a well-proportioned figure) they fit less taller women, too. E poi ci sono le cappe, molto Couture, che possiamo abbinare a un jeans per renderle sicuramente più fashion, oppure a un abito o gonna con pull a collo alto come nella foto.

Then there are the cloaks, very Couture like, which we can match with a pair of jeans to make them look more a la mode, or a with a dress or a skirt with a turtle neck sweater, just like in the picture.

Dolce e Gabbana hanno proposto nella loro sfilata vari cappotti, dagli spinati classici e un po’ maschili, ma con forme che esaltano la femminilità, a quelli in broccato come quello in foto: color rubino, molto elegante, ma facilmente sdrammatizzabile e indossabile anche di giorno.

Dolce & Gabbana featured different kinds of coat on their fashion show, from the classic and more manly herringbone coats, but with a shape that flatters the femminine figure, to those in brocade just like in the picture, very elegant but can still be easily lightened up and worn during the day.

Amo tantissimo abbinare capi Couture con altri più pratici e sportivi, così non si rischia di acquistare un capo elegante, magari per un occasione importante, per poi vederlo giacere nell’armadio… il mio consiglio è: osate e indossate sempre tutto, abbinandolo in base all’occasione e puntando sugli accessori.

I really love to match couture pieces with practical and sporty ones, this way there’s no risk in buying an item too elegant you only get to use once, maybe for a special occasion, and never again… my advice is: dare to wear everything, mix and matching them up based ont the occasion and working it out with accessories.
